It looks as though someone is outraged by the photo shoot done this week on America’s Next Top Model. It was all about model on model violence where the girls had to pose as murder victims. A little morbid, but we have to admit it was a creative shoot.
“Violence against women is such a reality in our society that I certainly don’t need the entertainment industry making light of it and making entertainment out of it,” said Sonia Ossorio, president of the New York City chapter of the National Organization for Women.
Frankly, we think that if you can’t distinguish between murder as art (fiction) and murder in real life (bad), then you really shouldn’t be watching television in the first place.
Update: It appears that as a result of this outcry by Ossorio, those pictures have been stricken from the online model portfolios.
